Kate Macdonald is the Director of Human Resources at Lamar where she is responsible for staffing, onboarding, regulatory compliance, policies and handbooks, benefits, employee relations, and other functions of Human Resources. Kate has degrees from the University of California, Berkeley and the University of Oxford, England. Prior to Lamar, Kate worked for the International Center for Jefferson Studies at the Thomas Jefferson Foundation at Monticello, where she coordinated all aspects of the International Scholar Program including Human Resources, Foundation Housing, Development, and Events.
